Dr. Thomas Vikoren specializes in hip and knee replacements with rapid recovery protocols. Born and raised in Doylestown, PA, Dr. Vikoren has been practicing at Bucks County Orthopedic Specialists for almost 20 years and enjoys the distinct and definitive improvements that excellent orthopedic care makes in his patient’s quality of life. At the forefront of rapid recovery protocols in joint reconstruction, he has witnessed the evolution of these procedures from multi-day hospital stays to the outpatient procedures done today. As a researcher and educator, he not only stays current with the latest developments in the field, but he has also contributed to them through a variety of research projects and presentations on his findings. Dr. Vikoren is also the author of several articles for professional publications.
