Doylestown, PA – Bucks County Orthopedic Specialists (BCOS) is excited to announce the opening of a brand-new office on the main campus of Doylestown Hospital. Located on the 2nd floor of the new Ambulatory Center at 593 West State Street, this new state-of-the-art facility becomes the practice’s third office in the area.
“This new office provides many benefits,” says Randall Gross, CEO of BCOS. “First and foremost, it allows us to better serve our patients with expanded availability for appointments and x-rays with a third well-designed, modern space where we can provide the highest level of care while ensuring distancing and safety during these challenging times. We are also proud to be on the hospital’s campus, at the heart of healthcare in Doylestown. While we remain independent healthcare providers, we have a strong and mutually beneficial relationship with one of the best hospitals in the nation.”
In fact, having a presence in the new Ambulatory Center further enhances the existing partnership between Doylestown Hospital and BCOS, as Kieran Cody, M.D. currently serves as the President of the medical staff for the hospital and Charles Burrows M.D. is Director of the orthopedic service line.
With 6,000 square feet of space, on-site diagnostics, and 12 exam rooms, the new office also boasts a spacious waiting area designed with a streamlined, contemporary aesthetic that encourages efficient patient flow and adheres to all current safety protocols.
The Ambulatory Center suite also adds to BCOS’ growing portfolio of offices, which includes a location at 800 West State Street in Doylestown near Delaware Valley University and another in the new Comprehensive Orthopedic Center at 2800 Kelly Drive in Warrington.
While BCOS enjoyed having two well-established, comprehensive sites for patient care, adding a third location was an easy decision. “Frankly, we needed this space to keep pace with the growth of our practice and the demand for our orthopedic and pain management services,” says Gross. “In recent years we’ve added seven excellent new providers and we are still growing. Having three locations allows us to offer our patients more options and more accessibility to our specialists. Even as we expand, we remain committed to providing medical care that is as personalized as it is innovative. This new office allows us to continue fulfilling that mission.”
